SANSOTEI RAMEN PRIVACY POLICY

Sansotei Ramen collects, uses and discloses personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) about our customers in order to provide order processing so that we, along with our franchisees, can deliver service to our customers. We also collect, use and disclose personal information respecting applicants for potential employment with Sansotei Ramen.

This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) explains our practices regarding the handling of Personal Information. When you order food from us, visit one of our websites or otherwise engage or do business with us, you consent to having your Personal Information handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

What we collect:

Typically, we collect the customer’s name, address, phone numbers, credit card number (if provided), email address (from web orders), and any comments included by the customer. As necessary to fulfill your order, Sansotei Ramen provides your Personal Information to the independent franchisee that serves you. The information we provide to such franchisees is governed by their own Personal Information practices and privacy practices. Consult with the franchisee who serves you to find out how and why they use and disclose your Personal Information.

Regarding potential employees we collect the following information: names, addresses, phone numbers, email address, as well as information regarding performance, work/education background and history and such information contained in a résumé or that is obtained from references.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Sites. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Site and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Sites, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

 

Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies. We may use your information to develop and display content and advertising (and work with third parties who do so) tailored to your interests and/or location and to measure its effectiveness.

 

How your information is used:

We share Personal Information with our franchisees, agents, representatives, and service providers, some of whom may be located outside of Canada, for the purposes described below. We require our franchisees, agents, representatives, and service providers to use Personal Information we share with them only in accordance with this privacy policy and the applicable law.

  • to process orders

  • to respond to requests and inquiries and evaluate applications

 

As permitted by law you hereby consent to the use of your Personal Information for marketing through email, telephone, direct mail, or another medium of communication unless you notify us of your desire to opt out. We may contact you regarding:

  • promotions and special offers

  • inquiries for feedback on products or your dining experience and our customer service; and

  • responding to your comments or concerns.

 

In the event of a reorganization or transfer of ownership of our business or assets we may disclose your Personal Information to third parties for the limited purpose of assessing or completing such a transaction.

We may also use and disclose your Personal Information as may be required or permitted by law or for audit requirements.

 

We will not collect, use or disclose your Personal Information for any other purpose without notifying you and obtaining your additional consent.

 

We use Personal Information of applicants for employment only for the purpose of assessing suitability for employment. We may also retain and use the Personal Information of successful applicants collected during the application process for the purpose of assessing an individual's suitability for other employment opportunities within our organization. After a period of twelve months applicant Personal Information is destroyed (subject to retention in connection with automatic backup procedures and applicable record retention requirements) if no employment with our organization materializes in that time period.

Keeping your Personal Information safe:

Sansotei Ramen will not give, sell, rent, or loan any of your Personal Information to any third party (with the exception of third parties performing functions on our behalf who have an obligation to keep your information confidential) unless we have obtained your authorization to do so.

 

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Sites is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.

 

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

 

Personal Information may be stored and processed outside of Canada, including the United States. As such, Personal Information may be accessed by foreign governmental authorities and otherwise in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which it is stored.

You may at any time review or change the information in your account or terminate your account by:

  • Logging into your account settings and updating your account

  • Contacting us using the contact information provided below

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and/or comply with legal requirements.]

Our Privacy Policy does not cover any subsequent Personal Information you choose to provide to or that is collected by these third parties.
